›› The Convent Of Saint Francis

Demolished in the 16th Century this is the only rendering of the Convent of Saint Francis as we believe it once existed. The accurate recreation of this structure is a monumental achievement and the Museum sincerely thanks Raffaello Razzi for his depth of research. Mr. Razzi is the author of a variety of published essays and books, including "Minor Friars' Churches of San Gimignano". Our team is in the process of recreating the Convent in a 1.15 meter clay sculpture.
